$13 Gondola Ride and Herb Garden in Kobe, Japan 🇯🇵
On this day i return to Kobe, Japan to explore a ropeway and herb garden i was told about while staying in Kyoto, Japan. I didn’t know what to expect aside from there being flowers and gondolas. For a roundtrip ticket price of 2,000 Yen I rode the gondola to the top which took about 10 minutes. Once up top I was able to see the entire city and there was a few restaurants and shops. I was impressed with the architecture and the view and after taking a brief look around i began to hike down to the midway station. The walk down is a bit difficult as the path is steep but there are many opportunities to stop and rest and plenty of places to take pictures. The only thing i would do differently in hindsight is instead of booking the roundtrip ticket i would book a one way ticket and walk the entire way down. Its only about an extra half hour of walking and you get to see waterfalls which I’m told are pretty serene. I will certainly return whenever i find myself back in Kobe, Japan to walk the bottom half of the trail and see those waterfalls.
