ARIA Las Vegas at 15: Still Hitting the High Notes?

ARIA Las Vegas, the centerpiece of the CityCenter complex on the Las Vegas Strip, will be celebrating its 15th birthday next month. Since its opening in December 2009, this beautiful resort has continued to shine – as the only casino in the complex, as a AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five Star destination, as home to a dozen or more world-class restaurants, and straight up beautiful architecture and design. If you haven’t been to ARIA lately, come join us for a fresh tour, and two foodie adventures: at Egghead in the Proper Eats Food Hall, plus pizza at Moneyline!

  1. Super interesting and helpful. Will definitely go check out Aria when go. Would love to see more videos like this with deeper dives into specific properties .

  2. My husband surprised me for my birthday at Aria , he booked their 2 bdrm penthouse and I was in heaven, I would definitely do it again ❤

  3. Aloha Paula and Dale! Catch is delicious, they know what they're doing in the kitchen. Mahalo for your excellent videos.

  4. We were there for the grand opening in December 2009. It was freezing outside waiting for it to open! brrrr

  5. Ate at Tapas..very good!!! Loved the review of the hotel. Here’s hoping you have the scotch advent calendar..loved those vlogs!!!

  6. Love the Aria..however the only food option I tried was their buffet which closed for Covid and never re opened. It's now their Proper Eats Food Hall

  7. Pizza w a knife and fork. Made me laugh! When I first visited my daughter, Shan, in Budapest a few years ago we walked by an Italian restaurant and people were using knives and forks to eat pizza. I turned to Shan and said, "What's wrong with these people! Don't they know that pizza is finger food for gods sake!". Shan's reply: "Only in America, Dad". We ate there a couple of days later and I made a point of NOT using a knife and fork. Brought back a great memory, Dale. By the by: I absolutely love the background soft jazz you use for these vids. Unobtrusive, appropriate, and very relaxing.

  8. I stayed at the ARIA for 4 nights in September and will never stay there again. When I got to my room, the tv didn’t work and the drape was hanging off the rod. I called maintenance and when the guy was working on the tv, he bumped a snack on the “weighted” snack bar. I checked my room charges the next day and sure enough I was charged $14. After I explained to the front desk, the charge was removed. Always check your room bill. The maintenance person repaired the drape by “stapling” the drape to the wall. Yes he had a staple gun and stapled it to the drywall. Then on the second day, I pushed the button for room service in the morning and when I returned about midnight, no room service. I did the same thing the next morning and when I returned in the afternoon, nothing. I asked the housekeeper in the hallway about cleaning my room and she said she would contact someone. After a couple hours, I called housekeeping and they said I would have someone in 30 minutes there. Later that night, nothing. Very disappointed and therefore I will go elsewhere on my next visit. Also, the rates were not cheap.

  9. That is one of my favorite places! I try and visit Aria every time in in Vegas. I've never stayed there but I have stayed at Vdarra. When I was there this past August I took a food tour with Lipsmackin foodie tours and it was all in the Aria. I really enjoy your videos! Thank you!

  10. The Banana Brulee Waffle with a side order of crispy Applewood-smoked Bacon at Salt & Ivy inside Aria ranks among one of my favorite all-time breakfasts in Las Vegas. I have had that exact meal many times, even when the Banana Brulee Waffle was temporarily removed from the menu for a while but could still be ordered if you asked the kitchen to make it for you.

  11. Great video! Aria, the Sky Suites specifically, is our home away from home. It never disappoints. It's clean, fresh, and always full of energy. I love the restaurant collection. Lots of great dining that won't break the bank. Lemongrass is a must every trip, and Din Tai Fung is one of the best things to happen to Aria.

  12. Good job on a beautiful property. I do hate food halls and am horrified at the price of your breakfast from a counter.

  13. I stayed at the Aria in February for my birthday. It's a very nice place, but I found the employees to be very rude, from the front desk, to the bartender at the Lobby bar and the cocktail servers. I love the location, but doubt if I'll be staying there again.

  14. I named my rescue cat Aria after this beautiful resort! I can't wait to try Egghead & EggSlut. I definitely agree with you that the people who say Las Vegas is going down hill does not have a clue because it is jamming with new things and keeps on evolving with super futuristic things!

  15. Nice video of Aria. Walked through many times but will be staying there for the first time next week. Can’t wait. The week of Thanksgiving is my favorite time to visit Vegas. Love the weather!

  16. Thanks so much for returning to ARIA! It's our favorite resort. We miss the waterfall wall that used to exist behind the car display you showed. We also miss afternoon tea at the Lobby Bar and the lobby display. I guess there are F1 fans out there, but it's not us.We are actually a bit bummed out about how sports have overtaken the city and the production shows are on the back burner. Hopefully as soon as it passes, Aria will get a great holiday display going. Javier's is always a required reservation for us – for the Chile Negro shortribs, and we really want to try Bardot sometime. We enjoyed tapas at Julian Serrano a few years ago but we actually prefer visiting Firefly, off strip for tapas. It'll be a while before we get back to LV. Retirement life does not provide a lot of travel funds, so thank you for our visit today. Happy upcoming holidays.

  17. I stay there during the 2009 financial crisis right after they opened. Cheap deals and the gaming is nice.

  18. We stayed there several times early 2010s. It was my favorite casino floor, at least until the minimums got out of control (that certainly isn’t limited to Aria or even MGM resorts). It is almost impossible to take a bad pic of the outside of the resort after dark. It is still be most beautiful resort in Vegas to me. Great vid!

  19. I like the ambience of the Aria. I was there in 2023 and had a hard time finding the tram station. The Cosmo got me disoriented when it was time to leave. I guess thats all in the design in getting their customers to stay longer. 😂
    Great video presentation!
