Snow adventure in Japan, Hakuba back country
The snow that had been falling until yesterday stopped by morning, leaving only fresh Japow behind. We accessed it from the Cortina lift and headed to the unused slopes. The perfect condition of deep Japow, combined with occasional breaks of sunshine, created the ultimate backcountry skiing situation.
