We started at Tokyo Station, hopping on the Shinkansen to Sakudaira Stationβthe last station covered by the pass. From there, we rented a car to explore Togakushi Shrine, offering us the flexibility to enjoy the scenic winter landscapes at our own pace.
While buses from Nagano Station to Togakushi Shrine are available, renting a car is a great option for added convenience and freedom.
