I climbed to the summit of Mount Fuji TWICE in 24 hours! (via the Fujinomiya trail) [LONG VIDEO]

In August 2024, at the age of 51, I took on an epic challenge: climbing Mount Fuji twice in just 24 hours! 🌄🏔️

My adventure began on the Fujinomiya Trail, where I hiked to the summit during the day. After a restless evening in a Fuji mountain hut (let’s just say “sleep” is optional up there!), I tackled the trail again in the middle of the night to witness the breathtaking Fuji sunrise—an experience worth every step.

For the descent, I took the less-travelled Prince’s Route, which starts on the Gotemba Trail and cuts across the spectacular Hoeizan crater, eventually reconnecting with the Fujinomiya Trail at the 6th station. All within 24 hours!

This video captures the highs, lows, and everything in between during this unforgettable journey. If you’re considering climbing Mt. Fuji, I can only say: Do it! It’s challenging, rewarding, and a memory you’ll treasure forever.
