MT FUJI DRIVE UP TO THE FUJI SUBARU LINE 5TH STATION AT 2700 METRES FROM TOKYO JAPAN

Instead of hassling to meet up with a bus tour to Mt Fuji we decided to pay the extra to go with with a private car pick from our hotel in Shibuya. There was some confusion at meeting in the morning but we finally met up and proceeded to leave the city of Tokyo on a fast moving clean freeway stopping off at the EXPASA DANGOZAKA WESTBOUND service centre.
From there we continued until we entered the Mt Fuji Subaru Park where the road took us to the 5th Station at 2700 metres.
Unfortunately we had cloudy weather all day and we did not get see Mt Fuji at all until we took the Shinkansen a few days later for superb views of this most famous mountain.
We then drove along colourful forests with their autumn colours to the Higashiguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine which will come up in the following video.
