■New Boeing 777-300ER
Emirates has refurbished the exterior and interior of its Boeing 777-300ERs. The refurbishment began in July 2024, and it took 37 days to complete the first refurbished Boeing 777-300ER. The first refurbished Boeing 777-300ER took off on the afternoon of August 7, 2024 as flight EK83, a flight from Dubai to Geneva. The refurbished aircraft will be introduced gradually, and was introduced on the Tokyo Haneda-Dubai route from September 1, 2024. Emirates is also refurbishment of its Airbus A380s, and plans to invest more than USD 3 billion in the new aircraft, with a total of 191 aircraft of both types.
