GOOD FOR WHICH SKI RESORTS?
Hakuba area (bus transfer)
Myoko / Kurohime area (train transfer)
Shiga Kogen area (bus or train)
For Nozawa Onsen and Madarao/Tangaram you can take the same train line (Hokuriku) and go to Iiyama station.

This is the option I like as it’s a straight forward way to quickly leave the airport and get going. Especially if you arrive at Tokyo Narita Terminal 3.
There are a bunch of options. You’re welcome to put your favourite option and recommendation in the comments. Feel free to take the option you’re most comfortable with.

WHY THE BUS?
– Easy transfers (no switching trains)
– Bus stop directly outside: no need to search for the train station
– Luggage can be stowed below the bus
– It’s quicker to take the bus than the cheapest train
– The fastest train is about 60 minutes and costs double at 3000 yen
