Experience Osaka Castle in 4K, as we take a walking tour through this iconic site featured in the acclaimed TV show, ‘Shogun’. Although the castle seen in the series was from the original Azuchi-Momoyama period, today’s Osaka Castle is a reconstruction of the Edo period keep, built by the Tokugawa shogunate after the original was destroyed. The Tokugawa era brought a major expansion to the castle grounds, adding to the grandeur and historical significance that we see today.
