1) Onsen Ryokan Kaigetsukan in Sumoto in Hyōgo Prefecture.

This Ryokan offers Japanese style rooms, western style rooms and rooms that are a mix of Japanese style and western style rooms, high-class Japanese cuisine and Kaiseki Ryori, as well as gorgeous hot spring baths.

It takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours to get there from Osaka station.

2) Yamazakiya Ryokan in Nagano Prefecture

This Ryokan is located in Shibu Onsen and offers an amazing Onsen Ryokan experience with everything that you’d imagine would be included.
