History of Boeing 777-281ER JA715A
Serial Number 32646 / Line Number 563 was manufactured 2006, performed her first flight on April 25, the same year and was delivered on May 12, 2006 to All Nippon Airways after a ferry flight from Everett (PAE) to Tokyo (HND).
JA715A was configured until October, 2016 in a seating configuration of C70W36Y117, later in a seating configuration of C21Y384 until October, 2019 and is presently configured C28Y364 with a state-of-art entertainment system.
Equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW 4090, the entire ANA fleet of B 777-200 series and the domestic fleet of the remaining five B 777-300 was grounded, following a United Airlines incident in February, 2021 that saw engine parts falling over Denver.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, JA715A was stored at Tokyo (HND) during 2021 and 2022.
After the Corona pandemic the demand for domestic air travel picked up sharply in 2022.
ANA reinstalled Boeing 777 operations on domestic trunk routes, mainly from Tokyo to Sapporo, Fukuoka, Naha and Osaka (ITM).
JA715A is operating mainly on domestic trunk routes of All Nippon Airways and recently also on remote routes.
