JICA Kyushu Center (JICA Kyushu), established in 1989, is located in the town called Yahata, being 10 kilometers west of the city center of Kitakyushu city. Yahata is one of the Sites of the Meiji Industrial Revolution, inscribed on the World Heritage list in 2015. JICA Kyushu covers 7 prefectures, namely Fukuoka, Oita, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima.
