The journey to complete the remaining prefectures on the island of Kyushu next brings us to the city of Saga. We may not have a lot of daylight available to us, but we certainly make the most of what we have. We begin our tour of the city in the Saga Balloon Museum, celebrating over 30 years of the Saga International Balloon Fiesta being held right here in the area. Out the doors we next drop in on the Chōkokan, a museum dedicated to the history of the Nabeshima Clan and their pivotal role in the development of the Saga region. To finish off our tour of the city, we geocache our way toward the Saga Castle Ruins, treating ourselves to a tour of the Saga Castle Museum. Come along and join us as we learn more about the City of Saga as we step through history.
