Takoyaki for kids… Would they eat Osaka’s essential street food snack?

Takoyaki is one of Osaka’s most essential treats. Like a savory popover with a tasty center of octopus, takoyaki combines savory flavors, sumptuous batter, and the chew of fresh seafood.

But that doesn’t mean it’s an easy must-like snack for kids getting the hang of Japanese food.

During our visit to Osaka though, we not only found amazing takoyaki. We figured out 3 simple alternate versions that got our kids hungry for takoyaki.

Jodie is video editor and social media manager. As an above the knee amputee, she hopes to show how amazing travel is possible with a mobility disability.
