Japan24 – Day 1 – Arrival and Tokyo – First day of our tour of Japan

We land in Tokyo after a 14 hour flight from the UK. Once through arrivals we get our money, phone card and metro travel card then head to Tokyo on the monorail.

We then take a few attempts to find our hotel and decide to go straight out in an attempt to stay up and overcome the Jet Lag.

We head to Shibuya and have an amusing photo session at the Dog statue then have lunch at the Kyushu food market.

Next to Yoyogi park, Emma loses her phone but we use the locator app to find it to her huge relief, then visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine.

We are getting tired so head back to the hotel, have a quick Ramen dinner then have an early night ready for the next day.
