Hiking tour from Magome to Tsumago: Let’s walk Nakasendo
This video shows a hiking course between Magome and Tsumago, a part of Nakasendo highway. This is the most popular part of Nakasendo.

This tour takes about 5 hours including visits to Magome and Tsumago and time for lunch. The walking distance is about 7 km.
This video was shot in the fall. Spring and early summer hikes are also recommended. It is best to avoid June because of the rainy season and July through September because of the extreme heat.

Nagoya is the starting point for hiking tours from Magome to Tsumago. From Nagoya, you can visit by train and bus.
