Cycling Japan’s Oboke Gorge in Shikoku, Sleeping in an Old Japanese School 🇯🇵🚲 Road Trip Part 4!

This is the next stop on our 3 week road trip & cycling tour around Japan!

We finally reached the island of Shikoku, which is the smallest of the four main islands of Japan, and made up of four prefectures: Ehime, Kagawa, Kōchi, and Tokushima.

We stayed in an old elementary school on the side of a mountain, and got to admire the beauty of the Oboke Gorge (大歩危峡). We were also biking in all four of Shikoku’s prefectures on one ride, cycled along the Yoshino River, and saw one of the Iya valley’s vine bridges, or Iya Kazurabashi (祖谷かずら橋 ). There’s so much nature to explore on Shikoku!
