I went to Yokosuka to see Sarushima, an uninhabited island that can be reached in about an hour from Yokohama, and Mikasa, one of the world’s three largest monuments. Battleship Mikasa and Sarushima Fortress have been carefully preserved as relics of the war. It is recommended not only for sightseeing but also for studying history.
