Hattasan Soneiji Temple , founded in 725 is located in Fukuroi , Japan. The autumn leaves waited until early December to reach their peak and we visited there on a glorious winter day to experience the enchanting atmosphere of this historic landmark. People and their pets come from all over Japan to pray for good fortune. Our dog Chevy will guide you, as we walk around this magnificent national treasure.

Lovely and historic Temple! Chevy was on his best behavior! I really enjoyed seeing how the grounds and nature around the Temple are an integral part of the experience, it’s not just visiting a building. The colors are bright, hard to imagine that it was early December- it’s very dreary, cool and cloudy here… and the leaves are long gone. Beautiful umbrellas and bells and offerings. 👌❤🇯🇵👍⭐⭐⭐
