Japanese Garden Koko-en (Japan Trip) / 好古園

It’s located in Himeji Park, where Himeji Castle also is located in, in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture in the west Japan. If you stand close to the pond, koi fishes will come swim around near you expecting you throw food at them.

姫路城のすぐ近くにあります。後で調べてみたら、結構新しい庭園でした。開園年は1992年。池を近くで見ているとすぐに鯉が寄ってきます。餌が目当てで、手をかざすだけでザワつきます。日本各地の庭園の池やお堀にいる鯉はどこでもそんな感じです。
