Today we went to Kin Town where we visited the Yakuba ( Government Building) and learned about Kyuzo Toyama, who was the father of emigration in Okinawa. He was the reason there are Okinawans in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Brazil. We ate lunch there and then we went to Nuchi Masu Factory which was on Miyagi Island. Nuchi Masu Factory is known for its ultra-fine salt. it contains 21 kinds of minerals and was registered in the Guinness World Records in 2000 for its significant mineral richness.
