Je voulais visiter cet hôtel en février, mais le funiculaire était en réparation. De retour au Japon en octobre, j’ai décidé de tenter ma chance une nouvelle fois. Je savais que des caméras avaient été installées, mais l’endroit étant si reculé, j’ai supposé avoir un peu de temps avant que les gardes ne remarquent ma présence.
Arrivé à la première station, j’ai ouvert une porte menant à un sentier qui permet de redescendre à pied, si nécessaire. Ce chemin est fortement déconseillé, car il n’est pas entretenu et fréquenté par des sangliers sauvages. Mon objectif était simplement de rejoindre le petit sentier cimenté qui mène à l’entrée de l’hôtel.
En m’approchant du bâtiment, un haut-parleur a retenti, m’ ordonnant de ne pas aller plus loin. Mais, quitte à être un intrus, j’ai continué.
Une fois descendu à l’étage inférieur, un second avertissement sonore s’est fait entendre. J’ai pris quelques photos avant de décider de quitter les lieux.

Cela fait maintenant 10 jours que j’explore des endroits interdits, et la fatigue commence à se faire sentir. Cet hôtel délabré avait quelque chose de vraiment effrayant. J’avais lu que certains planchers pouvaient s’effondrer sous le poids d’un visiteur. Ne connaissant pas assez bien la configuration des lieux, je n’ai pas voulu prendre plus de risques. L’adrénaline n’a pas suffi à me pousser à aller plus loin.
Malgré tout, je suis satisfait de cette escapade.
Le lendemain, j’ai exploré une autre merveille, aussi belle que effrayante : THE HIMURO MANSION ! À suivre…

I wanted to visit this hotel back in February, but the funicular was under repair. Now that I’m back in Japan this October, I decided to give it another shot. I knew they had installed cameras, but since the place is so remote, I assumed I’d have enough time before the guards showed up.
At the first station, I found a door leading to a trail that allows you to hike back down if needed. This path is strongly discouraged because it’s unmaintained and frequented by wild boars. My goal was just to reach the small concrete path that leads to the hotel entrance.
As I got closer to the building, a loudspeaker blared a warning, telling me not to proceed. But I kept going—if I’m going to trespass, might as well commit! I made my way to the lower floor, accompanied by another loud warning. I took a few photos before deciding it was time to leave.
After 10 days of exploring countless restricted locations, fatigue was catching up with me. The place had a chilling atmosphere, made even creepier by its dilapidated state. I’d read that some floors could collapse under your weight, and since I hadn’t studied the layout of the hotel thoroughly, I didn’t feel like going any further. The adrenaline rush wasn’t enough to keep me going.
Still, I’m happy with this little adventure.

今年2月にこのホテルを訪れようとしましたが、ケーブルカーが修理中で行けませんでした。10月に再び日本を訪れたので、再挑戦することにしました。カメラが設置されていることは知っていましたが、場所が非常に人里離れているため、警備員が来るまでに少し時間があるだろうと予想しました。

最初の駅に到着すると、ドアを見つけ、それを開けるとハイキング用の道に繋がっていました。この道は、必要に応じて徒歩で下山することができます。ただし、この道は整備されておらず、野生のイノシシが出没するため、利用は強く推奨されていません。私の目的は、この道を使ってホテルの入口へと続く小さなコンクリートの道にたどり着くことでした。

建物に近づくと、スピーカーから大音量で「これ以上進むな」という警告が流れました。しかし、せっかくここまで来たのだからと、進むことにしました。下の階に降りると、再び警告のアナウンスが流れました。そこで数枚写真を撮り、退散することにしました。

10日間でたくさんの立ち入り禁止の場所を探検したこともあり、疲労が溜まっていました。このホテルの廃墟は本当に不気味でした。床が重さに耐えきれず崩れる可能性があるという話を聞いていたので、建物の構造を十分に理解していない以上、それ以上進む勇気は出ませんでした。アドレナリンの興奮だけでは進み続けることはできません。それでも、この冒険に満足しています。
