⁴ᴷ Osaka: Taishibashi Imaichi Station (大阪府: 太子橋今市駅) – Japan Walking Tour (November, 2024)
As the weather gets colder, I’m heading to western Japan. I’ll be visiting the major cities in Shikoku, but along the way, I took a walk around the area near Taishibashi-Imaichi Station in Osaka City.
Although the station is listed as being in Osaka City, it actually spans across the border into Moriguchi City. I was debating whether to explore this area or the area around Moriguchi City Station on the Keihan Line and ended up choosing this one. However, there weren’t many people walking around, and I found myself thinking Moriguchi City Station might have been a better choice. Still, the slightly run-down atmosphere, the rather impressive arcade shopping street, and the cozy downtown feel were quite appealing in their own way.
