Winter special: prehistoric hot pot in Japan

Is this the hottest hot pot you’ve ever seen?
The flame pot, the fire, and the ancient house made this an unforgettable experience by itself. But this was just one part of the tour!

First we visited @tokamachi_city_museum to learn the background about Jomon and oldest pottery in the world.

Second, we were taken behind the scenes and touch and feel ancient artefacts with the archeologists.

The night then finished with this impressive dinner. I’ve never actually seen Game of Thrones but I feel like I can reference it here. It was such a dramatic yet peaceful experience and we learned about the simplicities of the prehistoric Jomon civilization.
