Living in snow country Japan
My elder neighbors are super humans. I can only imagine their winters used to be based heavily around a committed community who worked together to battle the seasons.
Not only did they conquer it but they created foods, festivals, and traditions that live on today. I’m so grateful for their advice and wisdom! #snowlife

Hello 👋 🇺🇸
Hi Matt, I’m curious about the picture of you shoveling snow. Is that from this year or last? That snow looks beautiful and deep!
Thank you for sharing all those historical photos. It is so interesting to see how people adapted to their environment.
Amazing
Stay safe!
I couldn't live there in winter.
Very beautiful! And yes, certainly a lot of snow to deal with, but also like you've mentioned they have learned to cope still with these extreme weather conditions.😊❄️
Bro, enjoying your videos. Looking forward to what you’ll post this winter. I’m in Buffalo NY and we’re expecting to get wacked with a lake effect “event”over the next few days. Lived in Numazu, Shizuoka throughout the entire 90’s and missed the snow. Now I don’t miss it so much. Be extra careful on that roof!
