  2. This is great!! Please do more current Christmas Markets!! (Munich, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Dresden, etc)

  3. I visited the city 8 years ago for Xmas, and I still can’t understand why they, after all this time, have security at the Museum Ludwig, I got a telling of too for venturing on the tilled area, strange?

  4. I have been there in 1999. I could not remember details of the church 😂…. just seemed gray and black. Now maybe It might be more beautiful than the Familiar in Barcelona.

  5. You will notice that every man removed his hat after entering the Cathedral. If this was in the USA, there would be obese dudes wearing baseball caps and beanies all over the church talking on their phones and taking selfies……

  6. We visited in March of this year and had a wonderful visit. Even walked near the famous bridge at night and had no problems. We fell in love with the city.

  7. What a lovely walk through Cologne! My one and only visit there was nearly 40 years ago and I didn’t see nearly as much of the city. I hope to go back some day.

  8. good idea and please and please be careful about natural disaster in your country but i wish you are fine and have a nice day with peace and have a good healthcare and going an oher country and no death in your country and i wish you are fine and have a good healthcare

  9. I was born and raised in Köln/Cologne and it's nice to see my hometown through the eyes of a non-local person, especially when it's somebody from outside of Germany. I have been traveling to many countries/continents except for South America and Africa but every time I come back to Köln I feel home despite the fact that my hometown is not the prettiest city. It's important to know that German cities and industrial areas have been bombed severely by the allied forces, hence the lack of housing post WWII and the need to build new housing opportunities for the people in a post war situation. It was required to build fast and cheap. That caused the rise of many ugly buildings. Some have been replaced and as you can see the inner city area is full of construction sites. It's a constant change and I hope it'll be better in the future. We have millions of tourists from all over the world and I'm happy to see people love Köln and visit us. Unfortunately we do have some issues with pick pocketers but that's something any other big city with tourists is suffering from. I wish my hometown in the downtown area was more clean, yet it's the lack of people's education and manners, also some tourists drop their trash wherever they go because they do it like that in their own countries. That's very sad. Thank you for sharing your view.

  10. oh i loved Germany when i visited there twice in my live time. Once was at age 15 with my parents meeting up with a foreign exchange student my elder sister took in when she was in school when in the US. We kept in touch with her like family for a solid 8 years and for some strange reason we lost touch and that hurts but years later when i turned 18 i got engaged and had planned moving to Germany with my ex to get married later on but that never worked out but i got to stay there for 2 months before returning back home and i loved the gothic buildings the sights and sounds of the cities. This was back in 1994 was the last time i was there. I was told that the cities are slowly changing to our modern buildings and i was devastated to hear that because i love the architectures and the original appeal of the one of a kind culture. But so glad to see some of it preserved and the delight on the people's face during a fun winter celebration. Much love joy peace and comfort to all always <3

  11. im still heart broken over the modern buildings replacing gorgeous historical hand crafted structures that should have remained instead. i understand some may have had some health hazards that needed to be condemned and removed but the rest were perfectly fine as is. i see that the original foods i ate back in the 90's when i was last there in Germany is being replaced with disgusting fast food joints that ruined the USA 🙁 Germany had some of the world's best foods second to none. I hope they hold on to that legacy.

  12. I live in the United States and I live to visit the European Christmas Markets this time of year. However, I wish that those who take the time to show us all the beautiful things these markets offer, I wish they would show more of the beautiful crafts that these talented people do than just food booths. After a while, you see one food counter, you've seen them all.

  13. I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Secondly, I really don't feel sorry for these brands, they raise their prices at least twice a year, so basically they are driving any potential customers into buying fakes kislux

  14. This video is to die for, oh my god, it is the most beautiful Christmas market in the world isn't it, I have never been, my god I would love to go there, like I said in my other comments I feel homesick, even though I was born in London I am British my mother is German, and all the memories of Christmas is a child just bring it all back into my heart, Germany will always live on in my heart. My lovely Germany. Silly me I have started to get tearful now.💜🍏💜🍏💜 ☃️ 🎄 ☃️🎄 ☃️ ❤😊❤😊❤
