LIVING in FUKUOKA | No.16 | Rainy day Outing – Ohori Park, Fukuoka Art Museum, Udon shop and cafes
I live in Fukuoka.
And this is a vlog of my ordinary days.
Before entering into December, we had many rainy days. It was cold and windy, but there are still ways to enjoy rainy days. For example, I went to Fukuoka Art Museum. It’s indoor and the place is less crowded. I really enjoyed looking at different sceneries, colors and thoughts through art master-pieces. And there are certain food such as Udon is perfect comfort food on a cold day. So, I went to Udon Taira where there was less queue than usual to enjoy hot, delicious bowl of Udon.
To close my week, my friend and I went to a nice branch (breakfast) cafe
just opened in July. Catching up with my friend, having a healthy, good brunch was so refreshing.
Bye, November!

I like this video more please
What an enjoyable video!! Thank you!
Very nice to see Ohori Park again even if it was raining. Great clip as usual, 2nd Passport! Yes, Japanese hambagu is very different from American burgers, I try to replicate them, soft, juicy and with a demi-glace sauce. Yuzu I eat with chicken nabe. A Swedish recipe of minced meat pan steak is beef a la Lindström, it is with chopped pickled red beetroots and capers in the mince, very good and easy to make. I use 50/50 beef and pork, some crushed panko and an egg. The beef and burdock udon looks great. I am amazed how much pasta is eaten in Japan, my gf can eat soba, udon, noodles and spaghetti every day! And, yes, I learned how to slurp over the years in Japan, it is easier and also polite 🙂 Also learned about rainy days, some periods in Kyushu can be annoying, but it is an almost tropical climate. Soel´s breakfast looks fantastic and the bread too, maybe I would miss a small grilled fish? Yanagibashi market is very nice, I often bicycled from Tenjin/Nakasu out to Ohashi/Minami and most of the time stopped at the market for something. I miss Fukuoka. Arigato!
