4K Scenic Drive: Autumn Colors, Mt. Fuji & The Lakes 2024
In this video, I take a scenic drive through Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures, enjoying the vibrant autumn colors and stunning views of Mount Fuji along the way.

The journey begins in Izu City, and as I continue through Izu-nokuni City and beyond, Mount Fuji gradually comes into view, occasionally appearing through breaks in the clouds. By the time I arrive at Lake Yamanakako, the clouds clear, and I am treated to a magnificent view of Mount Fuji, crowned with snow. After a break at Lake Yamanakako, I head toward Lake Kawaguchiko, where the beautiful autumn leaves create a scenic backdrop. The area is popular with tourists, and the roads are quite congested.
I stop at Lake Kawaguchiko to film for my sister channel, Samue Walk Japan. During this time, my wife and dog enjoyed a walk while I filmed.
Afterward, I sought out some local hoto noodles, a regional specialty beloved by my wife, but unfortunately, the first restaurant I visited had already sold out and was closed for the day. I found another spot at a lakeside restaurant near Lake Saiko, where I enjoyed a delicious meal of hoto and curry cutlet.
Throughout this journey, I visited three of the five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji, taking in breathtaking views of both Mount Fuji and the autumn foliage.
