Japan’s bullet train, the Hikari Shinkansen, from Nagoya to Tokyo : delicious ekiben
This train is a quick way to get from Nagoya to Tokyo Station.
We traveled on the Shinkansen Hiraki (γ²γγ).
Hikari means light in Japanese.
It was the top class train until the Nozomi came along.
You can ride unreserved, reserved, or greensha with a JR Pass.
There are about 2 trains per hour.
Another advantage is that there are smoking rooms on the train.
