Tokyo’s Authentic Japanese Shabu Shabu & Sukiyaki Wagyu Hot Pot in Shibuya

I’m just preparing to go on a trip to New York to visit some friends and to have a nice meal or four and it’s always great to eat with friends, new and old. I recall visiting a play in Richmond Vancouver, called Daimanya and it was a fantastic all you can eat Japanese Izakaya with unlimted Blue Fin Tuna, Lobster, Wagyu etc.

While eating there, some of the friends were heading off the Japan and I recall I visited a great all you can eat Wagyu Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki restaurant there that had the freshest ingredients, great authentic A5 Waygu and all the other meats you can think of. This is in the heart of the tourist district; the iconic Shibuya area in Tokyo Japan, Hope to share this with the friends that are traveling to Tokyo and hoping to share this with you as well!!!

  1. you sure that was cantelope? that had a green rind….pretty sure that was pumpkin…lol

  2. From the moment you entered the restaurant I knew this would be a wonderful experience! Tim, may I ask if you find Japan to be accessible for people with disabilities. My son's dream is to go to Japan, but he cannot walk. I would so love to take him there to enjoy the country, food and culture. Thanks again for sharing your adventures!

  3. There's so many Asian foods I would like to try but I have trouble with the texture. The raw egg raw fish and some of the ways of preparing the vegetables. Kind of looks like everything is good in the hot pot though 🙂

  4. Thanks for another great video, Tim. Please keep them coming. Now, I'm hungry, and that's a bad thing this late in the day. Wait a second; it's daylight savings time for 'Fall Back' today. It's still possible!

  5. Hi Tim, Japanese food is always the best quality, it looks fabulous and prepared with care always. Love this

  6. Looks SO delicious Tim! Love How in Japan it almost seems dining alone is more common! They were so accommodating with the English for you! Did you run into any communication/booking/etc troubles while there?🤔

  7. Hi Tim. I see you often, your videos are super that let us travel around the world and taste various cuisines. I just have a question: Every time in your report you eat a lot of food in many rounds. Do you really eat everything you collect or do you eat a little of each and arrange your video to make it look like you ate it all. I am curious about it.😄cheers

  8. Great video amazing food you and Eric surf 6 another food tuber should do a video together if ever go back to Japan it be amazing I bet.

  9. @TimLee .. japan has 3000 cases of salmonella poisoning pr year so please dont lie and say japan has no salmonella

  10. This is a very popular shabu shabu restaurant which is frequented by tourists and locals. I was there last year and had a wonderful time. Price is very reasonable. Thanks Tim for reminding me of this place.
