東京都台東区浅草で開催される「第12回弘前ねぷた浅草まつり」は、2024年11月22日(金) ~ 24日(日)の3日間開催される青森県弘前市の観光プロモーションイベントです。
開催3日間は、りんごの直売会などの弘前観光物産市、弘前ねぷた囃子の運行が行われます。
弘前ねぷたは、武者絵が描かれた山車を「ヤーヤドー」の掛け声とともに練り歩くのが見どころです。

ねぷた祭りの掛け声「ヤーヤドー」とは？
詳しい意味までは分かりませんが、昔の文献を見ると、「ねぷたは流れろ　豆の葉はとまれ　いやいやいやよ」という「ねぷた歌」について書かれてあり、この「いやいやいやよ」が現在の「ヤーヤドー」に変わったのではないかという説があります。また、今では見ることができませんが、「ねぷた喧嘩」がはげしく行われていた時代、「ヤァ！ヤァ！」という怒声がそこら中で響いていたという記述も残っており、これが転じて「ヤーヤドー」になったのではないかとも言われています。

「1400年の歴史を持つ浅草寺を歩く」
浅草寺は毎年3,000万人以上の参拝客が足を運ぶ、浅草随一の観光スポットです。雷門を抜けた先に続く仲見世通りには、飲食店やレトロな和雑貨店、おもちゃ屋さんなどさまざまなお店が立ち並び、賑わいを見せています。仲見世は、江戸時代にできた日本最古の商店街のひとつです。できたての最中や人形焼など、お土産やレトロな下町スイーツを気軽に買ったり食べたりできる、ワクワクする楽しさいっぱいの街です。レトロな楽しさを満喫するには、浅草花やしきでのアトラクションや、浅草演芸ホールでの落語鑑賞もおすすめです。近くには着物のレンタルショップもあるので江戸時代にタイムトラベルした気分も味わえます。

The 12th Hirosaki Neputa Asakusa Festival, held in Asakusa, Taito Ward, Tokyo, is a tourism promotion event for Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, which will be held for three days from November 22nd (Fri) to 24th (Sun), 2024.
During the three days of the event, there will be a Hirosaki Tourist Product Market, including a direct sale of apples, and the Hirosaki Neputa music parade.
The highlight of the Hirosaki Neputa festival is the parade of floats painted with warrior pictures accompanied by the shouts of “Yaya-Yado.”

What is the Neputa Festival’s chant “Yaya-Yado”?
The exact meaning is unknown, but if you look at old documents, you will see that they describe the “Neputa Song” that goes, “Neputa wa nagaro, Mame no ha wa tomare, Iya ya ya yo,” and there is a theory that this “Iya ya ya yo” changed to the current “Yaya-Yado.” Also, although it can no longer be seen today, there are accounts of the time when the “Neputa Fights” were taking place, when shouts of “Ya! Ya!” were heard all around, and it is said that this may have led to the name “Yayado”.
