⁴ᴷ Miyagi: Izumi Chuo Station (宮城県: 泉中央駅) – Japan Walking Tour (November, 2024)
I’m heading toward the Sea of Japan side of the Tohoku region before the snow starts falling, traveling north little by little while working along the way. On Sunday, I made it as far as Yurihonjo City in Akita Prefecture, but due to heavy rain, I gave up on taking photos and returned to Miyagi Prefecture. The sudden winter-like temperatures and rain made for a tough journey.
I visited Izumi-Chūō Station, which is said to be the second busiest station in Sendai City after Sendai Station. It has the atmosphere of a large suburban commuter town.
