Miyakojima. The Remote Island Where People Live Longest On Earth (Okinawa, Japan)

Come to Miyakojima or Miyako Island in Okinawa Japan with me, to uncover the world’s most beautiful pristine and underrated beaches–where people live longest on earth, due to it being a “blue zone.”
We will show off Okinawa’s 3 best beaches (Yonaha Maehama Beach, Toguchi No Hama & Aragusuku) explore Irabu island & the longest toll free bridge to get there, swim with the island’s sacred sea turtles, and dive deep into the culture and diets of the Okinawan people, while trying to figure out their secret to their longevity–is it their lifestyle or their frame of mind?
We will also give you tips on how to get here and where to stay in Miyako, since once you have seen this video, it will undoubtedly be at the very top of your bucket list.
Make sure to subscribe, and stay updated, as next week is the finale episode of this extraordinary Japan series, and make sure to visit our last videos on Kyoto, Tokyo and Nara.
On our next stop in Okinawa mainland, we will open your eye’s to the true essence of Japan; and what makes their culture so special, and long living.
