Discovering Inner Peace in Japan (alone in Kanazawa) [Travel Vlog 2024]
This life-changing trip through Japan continues onto my second stop in Kanazawa. After a vibrant introduction to Japan in Tokyo, I didn’t quite know what to expect when exploring this new city. The time spent here turned out to be exactly what I needed.
I share some crucial reflections in this one that are important for us all to think about.
I’m still just grazing the surface of what these insights could look like in my life, so I hope my musings encourage you to reflect on the shape these topics take in your life. I would love to hear any thoughts you might have in the comments below 🙂
All the best ~ Vlad

Less of a travel vlog – more of a video journal. Like a podcast in motion ~
Come join me on my travels as I share personal reflections and discussions with friends on topics focused on mindfulness, making the most out of life, travel, self-improvement, health/fitness, and anything else that happens to be top of mind.
I can’t guarantee that the discussions will be consistent video-to-video, but what I can promise you is that the channel will always keep it real – 100% organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, non-GMO, authentic reflections 🙂
enjoy ~

Thank you so much for watching! I would love to hear from you — did any of the reflections shared in the video resonate with you?
Hey… great post sharing some of your observations and perceptions about Japanese culture. I've had the fortune to visit Japan as I've always been drawn to the culture, aesthetics, etc.. alongside with intrigue about how a nation with very limited natural resources put their cars in every corner of the globe and global prevalence of their cuisine.
That said your callout on how everything (in you Kanazawa garden walk…and extrapolation to broader culture there) seems very thought out.. "intentionality"… really hit me as maybe one of the 'whys' Japan has been such a successful country, at least economically speaking.
Thanks for another great post. Happy travels.
Learn the language, only advice. you are only on the edge of the pot of Japanese culture you need to dive into the language
