Hakone: The Perfect Day Trip From Tokyo

From there, I board the Hakone Tozan Line to Hakone-Yumoto, taking in the serene mountain views. My stay at a traditional ryokan, Susukinohara Ichinoyo, includes a private in-room onsen experience that’s both relaxing and therapeutic.
Next, I visit Lake Ashi and take a ride on the iconic pirate ship, offering jaw-dropping views of Mount Fuji and a stop at the beautiful Hakone Shrine. The journey continues up the ropeway to Owakudani, a volcanic valley known for its sulfur vents and famed black eggs, all with unbeatable views of Fuji.
