Misawa: By the way, I have a question. There are US military bases in Japan, but did you know that American citizens can fly back to the US from each base for a low fee? For example, did you know that you can fly back to the base in California from Yokota Air Base, which is near Hachioji where I live, for $20?

Looks like an amazing food adventure! It is a tough time Tanner with all the travel stress and the loss of your grandfather. Take a few minutes each day to look around you and purposely note all the amazing things from the sky to the birds and look deep into those precious girls' (especially Risa) faces. I know this is out of realm time sync, but we all need to breathe. Enjoy your lives and thanks for sharing!
