Autumn Colours in the Nakatsugawa Valley π
One of the premier spots for autumnal foliage in Fukushima Prefecture, the Nakatsugawa Valley is nestled in the scenic sightseeing region around the Goshikinuma Ponds north of Inawashiro. In addition to being a beautiful drive through the mountains, there are numerous photo spots along the route where visitors can park and take pictures of the nearby lakes.
Best accessed by car, the Nakatsugawa Valley is roughly an hourβs drive from either Fukushima City to the east or Aizu-Wakamatsu City to the west. Itβs also a perfect stopping point on a trip to see the autumn colours at the nearby lakes.
