Exploring an Abandoned School hit by Japan’s BIGGEST Earthquake!

24.02.24

11th March 2011, the largest ever earthquake recorded in Japan struck the northeast coast, just out of the major city Sendai, and caused a tsunami as high as 30 metres in some areas to wreak havoc across the east coast. Causing major destructions, such as the infamous Fukushima Nuclear Disaster.

So on my third day in Sendai, curious about the whole history of the place, I went off the beaten path to explore the abandoned school of Arahama. Join me as I travel to the small town of Arai on yet another interesting adventure. Before that though, I explore a bit of Sendai Station, as well as some other things around the area.
