  1. But how do we find Nick?🙃I love how you wave all the green flags for him, but none of your links in the description lead us to Nick 😉

  2. Oh, I hate the end – it was such a great trip! We will be in Kyushu visiting my cousins, aunts and uncles – been over 40 years since I have visited Kyushu (Fukuoka, Oita, Beppu, Taketa). Thank you for this !

  3. This is a fun one! I helped plan an itinerary for some clients last spring that included Himeji and Onomichi (despite not previously having known these cities existed), so it was fun to see what they're like. 😅

  4. The linear Shinkansen, which is faster than the current Shinkansen in Japan, 500 km/h, between Tokyo and Nagoya in 2027, and takes 50 minutes. It is under construction and is scheduled to open. It is planned to go to Osaka. There is no driver and remote operation. There is a test line 42 km linear tour center in Yamanashi prefecture. Most of it runs in tunnels. Please look forward to the linear Shinkansen, which is faster than the current Shinkansen, 500 km/h.

  5. I received seeds from the Benton’s too, but did not do well 😢hopefully next year. Love what y’all are doing. We are going to be driving around Shikoku this weekend

  6. Lisa and Josh, you are the best!
Fun, informative, and soooo entertaining, this has to be your best video yet. This video has convinced me (us) that Japan will be featured in our upcoming retirement life.
Thanks so much for doing what you do, and doing it so well. ❤❤

  7. You guys ever been to Nagoya? I live here and think it’s one of the best undiscovered cities in Japan.

  8. Hi Lisa and Josh! I just wanted to say that I love your channel! You guys have so much fun and it is always a joy getting to see your videos. Makes me want to go on an adventure someday too!

  9. Epic trip and vlogging guys! While so much was going on each day, somehow it felt just right too. I loved watching every minute of your ‘movie’.
Booking everything on the fly showed us that not preplanning works….. Even when Japan has become such a popular holiday destination. 👍

  10. You guys and your attitude really Rocks. Thank you for living the way you do so I can travel vicariously through you. Cheers, Muffy

  11. Wow, what a great video! Quite an adventure. So fun to watch even for a native Japanese!
I live in Yokohama next to Tokyo now but I am originally from Matsumoto in Nagano prefecture in center part of Japan. You've gotta come find the charm of Matsumoto, too. And in neighbor city Azumino there is the world's biggest wasabi plant farm! You would be amazed, I bet!

  12. I absolutely enjoyed watching this, the humor on the voice over and the editing are impeccable. I was only hoping to learn more about travel in Japan but I also ended up learning about how important it is to put a video together. You guys have put so much effort on this and I appreciate that. Thank you for sharing.

  13. I can never ever do this as it would give me and my partner anxiety haha. But it has been an absolute joy to watch you two do this on a whim and experience it through the screen. Thank you thank you for being genuine, fun and just yourselves. 🎉
