An enormous shrine with almost no visitors??

The Takayama Inari Shrine on Honshū, Japan is remote even for the Aomori prefecture. But the beauty found here is well worth taking a detour! Either plan on renting a car or taking a bus to a nearby town and walking ~45min to the shrine complex.
