Next, we dive into the vibrant Plaka market area, exploring its charming shops and bustling atmosphere. Then, we head to Ermou Street for some retail therapy and check out the trendy shops and malls. No trip to Athens is complete without visiting Monastiraki Square and its famous flea market. We wander through the stalls, searching for unique souvenirs and treasures. For a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and the city, we hike up Areopagus Hill, one of the most amazing viewpoints in Athens. After all that exploring, we relax with a refreshing drink at a rooftop terrace, enjoying the panoramic views. For dinner, we take you to our favorite restaurant, Arcadia and enjoy a delicious Greek meal. To end our day on a high note, we head to the Attic, an awesome rooftop bar with stunning views of the city and the Acropolis. Join us as we experience the best of Athens!

    Well at last I have been to Greece…Heard so much about it from friends and travel brochures and now My Fav JO's channel has taken me there.
    Its such an interesting place with all the white building and the poor old buildings that have seen better times. Those markets blew my mind and i can guess it would be hard to walk away without a bag full of treasures. That old chap dancing reminded me of how I would look doing the same. Only I have better moves. I must say it was a truly very interesting trip. Thanks again JO's for inviting me along.. Till next time. All the best.

    Athens has always been one of my favourite cities in Europe ever since my first visit back in 1976 when I hitch-hiked from England to Greece 😎In the past it often used to get a bad rap because of the traffic congestion, pollution, etc., back in the day…but in recent decades the situation has improved a lot, since they re-directed the traffic flow, and introduced vehicle limitations, etc.

    The Plaka area is lovely, despite the huge tourism factor.

    When was this video actually recorded, the time of day, and what was the air temp, etc?
