Day two of my learning to fly a Prism Nexus, two line “stunt” kite. I’m out at the Burlington Prairie Forest Preserve with winds occasionally gusting to about 20 mph. I recently got back into flying single line kits and thought that flying a multi-line kite might be interesting. So I decided to buy a Prism Nexus dual-line as my first one.
This is kinda fun. One of those things that I’d like to get a lot better at after viewing the interesting moves that experienced flyers perform.
I almost loose it at about 2:42.
I was happy to end the video with a decent landing. Although the kite fell forward rather than the preferred backwards.
