✈️ How to Pack Medication Pills for Airport Security 💊 Type PILLS for links 💙 For domestic flights in the US, the tsa.gov site says you can pack pills anywhere and in any container. BUT if it is a prescription medicine, you need the prescription on the bottle or on its box because that medication may be illegal in that state. It’s mostly for controlled substance type pills.
Since this topic is confusing I have a video on my bio page just tap my name.
TRAVEL TIP that will help: if you carry a lot of pills, ask your doctor to prescribe you a small amount so that you only have to pack small bottles. A medication travel tips video is on my bio page. Tap on my name to go there.

  1. Do you have tips and any insight on international travel prescriptions including uncontrolled and controlled?

Thank you for your videos Laurie. First time I’m traveling in 26 years and so much has changed.

  2. This is funny to me since here in Europe we never have a prescription on the bottle. I just get it in the original packaging from the pharmacy with my receipt from my doctor. So when I travel to the states I probably need a document from my doctor.

  3. I have multiple Rx meds. Never had a problem with any of them either domestically or internationally. Never take the Rx label either. Waste of time. Unnecessary US or Europe.

  4. I have multiple prescriptions, so bringing all of the original bottles is prohibitive. One hack I use is snack sized ziplock bags. The ones with the opening on the short side of the bag. I attach the prescription to the bag. I use a heat gun to warm up the prescription labels as needed to remove them from the bottle if I can’t get a printout from my local pharmacy. All of these bags go into a pouch that zips up safe and secure.

Any medication prescribed by any American Dr and filled by an American pharmacy in America is legal in any American state
FDA regulations and the supremacy clause in the constitution
Then there is full faith and credit in the constitution

  6. I love packing using ziplock bags & silicone bags !! That small one ( silicone one ? ) was cute in this video !

For travelers in U.K.,be aware that they don't carry/sell any ziplock bags !! It was very inconvenient. I visited Wales/ England in 2022 summer for over a month & couldn't find it anywhere I went !! Supermarkets & drug stores ,a pound shops !! 😅So,if you're thinking of getting 'em there ,you're out of luck !! Lol. Pack some extras ! Also, they don't carry/ sell rubbing alcohol bottles or hydrogenperoxide at drugstores/ Supermarkets or any sore !! Lol Only on line .I found only 1 alcohole contain sanitizing spray in UK called Cusson's Carex . Both Welsh / English told me they never seen rubbing alcohol or hydrogenperoxide bottles at a store ,only on line !! 😅Sorry to say that their hygiene routines are way behind ! Toliets ,too !! Lol. You can get sanitizer wipes / gel lotions there ,but not spray kinds !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

  7. I know they always say this, but I have never done it. Never had an issue. Of course I also don’t take controlled substances like narcotics or cannabis. I’m sure that would be different if you took those things. But otherwise I put it in my little pillbox and call it good.

  8. The problem is the tsa thugs that think they are Police. When they started, they were arrested in droves for stealing.
