Dream destination for sure
Just a list of all the main cities in the country. There are so many better places to live and raise a family than those stereotypical tourist traps.
Utsunomiya, Morioka, Wakayama, Takasaki. All great places. All have best of both worlds in terms of convenience and nature. All very laid back places, yet plenty of things to do. Check them out! I'm sure there are many more, but those are the ones I know personally to be fantastic.
