In a quiet village in France, this quaint little house once flourished with life. Compared to 2009, it looks very different now—nature’s hand has taken over, wrapping it in layers of overgrowth. It’s clear that no one has called this place home for years. As a curious explorer, I couldn’t resist taking a look inside.
Clues within tell the story of its last occupants: Maurice, his wife, and their daughter Zoë. They lived here until 2016, nearly a decade ago. Photographs still fill its corners, capturing moments of a family that once thrived. Every room whispers hints of the life they shared, as if frozen in time. It feels as though they simply stepped out, never to return.
Today, we step into this untouched space—a tribute to the family that once called it home. Come with me as we explore the enchanting rooms of this charming little time capsule.

Un saludo para tu amiga Sarah, hacía bastante tiempo que no la veíamos.
Respecto de la casa francesa, para mi fue toda una sorpresa, porque parecía una sencilla casa de campo de ladrillos, pero resultó tener varios detalles para destacar como la baldosa del comedor y dormitorio, las chimeneas, los hermosos muebles tallados, un espejo dorado muy bonito. Cuando veo ese tipo de muebles en casas que no son mansiones, pienso que fueron herencia de sus padres o abuelos.
El ático también guardaba muchas sorpresas, había mucho que ver, lástima que las telas de arañas no lo permitieron.😅
El pequeño dormitorio de Zoe, con esa lámpara hecha a mano, es una muestra de que la dueña de casa se preocupó de dar calidez a su hogar, poniendo muchas flores, adornos como figuras de porcelana, manteniendo el recuerdo de sus antepasados con sus fotografías.
Como bien dijiste "poco, pero de calidad"

Stupenda esplorazione tutto è rimasto intatto.
Stupore la stanza ricavata in soffitta .. è bellissima un vero ingegno …ho notato i pavimenti non avevo mai visto piastrelle colorate come quelle e comunque la figlia è giovane non capisco perché ha abbandonato tutto in quel modo è sempre un punto interrogativo.

I've hardly the words to describe the warmth this little house exudes. I love small spaces that have everything a big space has. The small homes in Sweden are some of my favorites as well. The woman of the house took ever little area of space she had here and made it special to suite her decorative tastes. I love it. Always so much to look at when entering the doors of such a home. The cozy feel envelopes you, this is exactly how I like to decorate. It's so special to be able to get this feel from a little home like this one without making it a clutter. That was fully achieved in this charming home. All the way from the tile to the wallpaper this is a little home that reminds me of a sweet cottage in the middle of no place it still shines just the way the owners wanted it to after all the passage of time as you said its purely enchanting. Yes, perhaps I'm really partial to this explore because I like well decorated small spaces, but this one was decorated just so, with great care I can't say enough about it. I'm watching it again! This is a reflection of the owners Bravo' Maureno and so good to see you sarah the perfect little house that has stood the test of time.
