Journey Through Japan PT.2 : From Akihabara to Nara’s Sacred Deer & Osaka’s Best Eats #traveljapan
Hello & welcome back to another TravFit adventure!! 💪
In part 2 of our Japan adventure, we dive deeper into Japan’s fascinating mix of tradition and modernity. Starting in Akihabara, the center for anime and electronics, we explore Tokyo’s vibrant Asakusa and visit the Senso-ji Temple. We try the rare pufferfish at Torafugu-tei Restaurant, then move on to Kyoto’s bustling Nishiki Market and scenic Higashiyama District. A bike ride takes us through the historic Saga Toriimoto street and across the famous Togetsukyo Bridge. We visit the majestic Tōdai-ji Temple in Nara and explore the tea culture of Uji at the Kanbayashi Tea Store, which has 400 years of history. Back in Kyoto, we tour Kyoto Station and pick up a handcrafted blade at Kunisige Cutlery Shop in Osaka. We also wander through Dotonbori Street for street food and stop by the iconic Kani Doraku for a crab feast.
