This is a typical workday in Japan at a local SecondHand Shop known to Japanese as a Recycle Shop, called Lumber Room and it’s located in Tokyo’s Musashi Koyama area. I’m going take you inside of this small shop so I can show you how they run their business, earn an honest living and sell all kinds of goods from home appliances to cute vintage bento boxes…and their day starts in the morning. Japanese recycle 2nd hand shops may be bit different to its thrift store counterparts found in countries like the US which rely on donations for their inventory. Japanese recycle shops on the other hand typically purchase goods directly from customers or B to B antique markets so their quite selective of what is sold in their shop. Furthermore, before items are sold they are thoroughly inspected and maintained to ensure it’s still in excellent condition. Hence, you’ll often find high-quality goods here which local savvy shoppers take advantage of.

Hey Paolo!
You have AMAZING production quality; I really like the way you dub over the video and it seems we are having a conversation with the person who is the main subject of the video. It is really refreshing and engaging! Keep up the great work!
that's more of a pawn shop than a thrift store.
I would literally watch a day in the life video of every single citizen in Tokyo. This series is my very favorite of yours!

How wanted or how desired are divorced Japanese women with children in Japan?
I can imagine not many Japanese men want to spend on a woman who has children..
