The Khoai Sonajhuri Hut is the perfect destination for you beside Khoai River in Shantiniketan bolpur. It’s around 180 km from Kolkata. The Haat around the Shonajhuri forests transforms into a concoction of art and craft, baul music and exquisite shopping. Here you will get numerous exclusive clay pieces of jewellery of different designs, the designer dressed made by local inhabitants. You can get handmade clay toys, showpieces, bags of different Santinekatani prints, garments made of Katha Stitch and Batik Print and even local ethnic Bengalee dishes like pithey and payesh. Friday, Saturday , Sunday and Monday around 11 a.m. the haat started in sonajhuri forest with tribal dance, folk song and baul song.
