Hey guys! In this video, I hike Mount Fuji!! If you have any questions, let me know in the comments.

If you also plan on hiking Mount Fuji, here are some things to consider:
– catch the early bus out of the Kawaguchiko station to Mount Fuji 5th station
– my bus left at 6:40am, but the schedule is different every season
– hiking season for Mount Fuji is july through early September
– the price of my round trip bus ticket was 1,800 yen
– the price of the hiking ticket was 2,000 yen.
– purchase tickets and reserve hiking slot on the official website: https://e.japanticket.com/shops/5168?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0EM8OlHxzxsPjalmnzrtkuMz1HiJtY_I3bm82zldTXHVfwqW-ApFiKRv0_aem_Ad9DqCaj6mz5O6f79ok7y0a_X-nr7byVwW6j0uQ93erWR0YQts8sUWVb6fZ_zwQF4O8f6CP-sxJ3AUa2haZBTYlI
– there are no trash cans at the Fuji 5th station. bring a bag with you to keep trash and dispose of it on your own later.
– walking sticks and shoes are helpful!
– bring snacks and water on the hike
– there are bathrooms (donation only) at the stations on the mountain

I hope you hike mount fuji at some point in your life! It is sooo cool!

xoxo

  1. I'm glad you were able to hike a little on Mt. Fuji. You were above the clouds even at the 5th station. I hope you enjoy your walk around Kyoto too.
