Let us show you a raw insight and give you our first impression of a place where foreigners love to live due to the cheap rent. We also tried Okonomiyaki for the first time in a famous spot here in Nishinari and found a little cafe with the cutest owners running the place at 87 years of age!

I worked at a Lawsons in Nishinari back in the 90's and it still has real characters. Rough yes but good.
It's my first comment from Japan, but it's very impressive to explore our country from the point of view of you guys.
I think Nishinari is one of the deepest town in many ways that you can't find anywhere like this around whole of Japan.
5:33 A guy you met at street said "Kireina Hitodesune" which means like "your girlfriend is beautiful" in Japanese. 13:29 This guy said "You can ask me if you got lost on the road".

pachinko parlors (those gaming places) used to be run by the yakuza maybe thats why that area was considered dangerous.. though its never dangerous in japan for tourists unless you cause trouble yourself
